Primavera P6 price

P6 Professional is sold as a perpetual licence for one named user. Resellers list it at $3,880, plus $854 a year for Oracle support. Oracle's website shows no current US prices, so the figures below come from resellers and from Oracle's own 2026 UK government price list.

Sources: the reseller prices are the list ("MSRP") prices on GlobalPM and Taradigm; support is 22% of the licence price. The cloud prices are from Oracle's G-Cloud 15 pricing document (UK public sector, January 2026). Prices exclude tax. In that document the cloud prices drop by 10% to 25% from 101 users up.

What the 22% support fee is

Oracle's licence buys the right to use P6 for good. Software Update License & Support is a yearly fee of 22% of the licence price: it gives you new releases and access to Oracle Support. In Oracle's last public US list, support for P6 Professional was $550 on a $2,500 licence, the same 22% (Oracle price list, 2016). GlobalPM and Taradigm sell the first year of support with each new licence. Over five years, one P6 Professional licence with support kept up costs about $8,150: $3,880 plus five years at $854.

Oracle has no newer US list online, and many pages still quote the 2016 one. Cloud prices moved too: P6 EPPM Cloud was $125 a user a month in 2016; in Oracle's UK lists it went from £220 (G-Cloud 14, 2025) to £244 (G-Cloud 15, January 2026).

How to buy P6

  • Oracle does not sell P6 online. Its P6 page offers a demo and a contact form, not a price.
  • Oracle partners and resellers sell single P6 Professional licences, so one user can buy one.
  • P6 EPPM Cloud needs at least 25 users. In the cloud, P6 Professional runs through Oracle's Primavera Virtual Desktop as part of P6 EPPM Cloud; Oracle's price documents list no P6 Professional subscription on its own.

Do you need P6 to read a schedule?

Not to read one. If you receive a contractor's monthly update as an .xer file and need to check its dates, float and logic, open it below: this page reads the file in your browser and never uploads it. It shows the projects, WBS, activities, relationships and float, runs a DCMA 14-point check, and exports the activities to CSV. It does not edit the schedule or recalculate it; you see the dates as the scheduler last calculated them in P6. MS Project .xml files open too.
